Description:

In this course the student will be provided an overview of the most common non-chip-producing manufacturing processes. Course topics studied include casting, forging, rolling, sheet metal forming, powder metallurgy part processes, welding, and plastic forming processes. The broad and introductory nature of this course provides the foundation for future work with manufacturing processes.
