This course introduces students to concepts in physics within the areas of mechanics, sound, electricity and magnetism and colour and light. Applications of these concepts in health science fields are stressed within each area of study. Laboratory experiments, demonstrations and various hands-on activities are conducted to reinforce and enhance conceptual theory presented in lecture.
