Description:

This course will provide students with an understanding of the principals of design & composition and their application in photography. Students will be given an overview of traditional in-camera composition and the new opportunities for picture-making made possible by digital image editing including viewfinder framing dynamics, balance, rhythm, pattern, perspective, compositional proportion, motion, light and color. The student will be able to apply internationally recognized fundamentals of good composition and design in both the photographic image capture process and post-production editing.
