Description:

This course is designed to utilize basic ergonomic assessments to analyze occupational risks. Students will also apply concepts of ergonomics and exercise science to reduce injury and improve performance. In addition, this course will familiarize the student with common occupational fitness tests. The student will investigate the development, administration, and interpretation of each test. Students will have the opportunity to try the occupational tests which may include, but are not limited to, the PREP, PET, PARE, FITCO, and the CPAT.
