Description:

In this course you will analyse a variety of specific acute and chronic conditions affecting differing populations. This course will introduce you to the precautions and contraindications to exercise for clients with a specific issue. You will examine the characteristics of aging and the positive effects of physical activity on the aging process. In addition, you will learn how to choose an appropriate assessment as well as to design and modify a program for a client who falls within one of the following populations: Healthy aging adults and clients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, orthopaedic, and immunological conditions.
