You will demonstrate the procedures for dispensing in various drug distribution systems in a hospital setting. This will include understanding of common Greek and Latin abbreviations used in medicine and pharmacy. You will practice dispensing techniques including interpretation of physician orders, calculation of medication required, preparation of standardized labels and dispensing of medication in a hospital setting.
