You will be introduced to human resources practices that are designed to support the success of your organization. You will investigate the important legislation which impacts the human resources processes within organizations, particularly in the area of human rights and health and safety. You will participate in discussions about the application of these laws, regulations, and rules at work. You will explore all the areas of human resources in the work place that provide organizations with the talent and human resources processes that maximize performance. These include: HR planning, recruitment, selection, orientation, training and development, performance management, total rewards management, health and safety, employee and labour relations, and other related areas.
