Description:

Building upon added research and the knowledge and experience gained throughout the program, you will examine in-depth the professional and legal issues associated with the roles of practitioners in rehabilitation therapy. Using a critical thinking approach, you will draw from theory and practice to discuss possible solutions for issues. Included in the discussions will be issues/topics, such as, opportunities and barriers related to professional development and employment opportunities for the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant, and transition into the role of graduate.

Prerequisites for this course

  • PRAC1207 - Field Placement II AND
  • OTPT1204 - Ethics and Professionalism
