This course will provide you with the basic knowledge of vineyard management practices in the Niagara Region and similarly with other cool climate regions of the world. This course will cover a broad range of topics encountered when starting or maintaining a vineyard. You will learn about vineyard site selection, business planning, working with banks, wineries, government agencies, labour and equipment issues, and the seasonal activities required to grow premium grapes.
