Description:

In this course, you will learn about the chemical processes involved in the production of wines. You will receive hands-on experience through laboratory exercises that include measurement, solution preparation, introduction to chemical reactions, concentration, pH, and the properties of water, must, and wine. You will also learn the proper handling and application of certain chemicals used in wine production. A prior understanding of basic chemistry concepts is recommended for successful completion; some review of key concepts will be provided.
