In this course, students will gain enhanced nursing knowledge required to meet the unique challenges of the older client in acute care settings. Through lecture, simulated experiences and collegial dialogue, and application of evidence based nursing knowledge, students will enhance their critical thinking and clinical judgment skills in caring for the health challenges that arise in acute care areas.
