This course focuses on advanced communication concepts that are fundamental in providing optimal care of the older client. Through lecture, case scenarios and simulated experiences, the student will develop self-insight into the challenges and issues that the older adult experiences with communication, and develop strategies to implement safe, competent and collaborative nursing care.
