A continuation of NURS1361, this course will continue to build upon students' knowledge of abnormal human physiology in an understanding of common disease processes. The etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, common diagnostic testing and treatment options for various diseases will be examined using a body systems approach (respiratory, musculoskeletal, digestive, kidney / urinary, reproductive, HEENT, and immune systems, and shock, child health, and oncology / hemology). This course will prepare students to integrate and apply pathophysiologic concepts to clinical practice.
