In this course, students will be introduced to concepts of community engagement, interprofessional practice, and institutional policy and practice. Students will continue to examine the ideas of client-centred care, professional practice and theory-based knowledge, including the nursing process, caring, health promotion and illness prevention. Students will learn how critical thinking influences nursing practice. A variety of teaching and learning strategies will be employed to support students' exploration of these concepts.
