Description:

In this course, you will be introduced to AutoCAD and electronic manufacturing techniques. In AutoCAD, you will learn how to draw in model space and prepare drawings in layout views. You will learn drawing techniques, editing tools, how to create and use blocks, how to use libraries, and how to dimensions your drawings. You will create electrical/electronic schematics, residential electrical layouts, and industrial layouts. During your time in the electronics manufacturing lab, you will learn how to use hand tools, soldering and de-soldering techniques, inspection, troubleshooting and other manufacturing techniques. Soldering and de-soldering exercises include both through-hole and surface mount printed circuit board assemblies.
