Mathematics forms the basis of much of the study and practice of engineering. In this second mathematics course, you will extend your algebra skills to factoring and operations with algebraic fractions. Next, you will learn to solve quadratic equations and how to use these methods in plane geometry applications. Then, you will investigate the relationship between exponents and radicals. Finally, you will learn to solve exponential and logarithmic equations.
