Description:

You will be introduced to the law of estate planning and estate administration including intestacies. You will review Powers of Attorney and Wills. You will prepare Wills and Powers of Attorney for property and personal care; detailed checklists and file procedures. You will follow checklists with respect to the Appointment of Estate Trustees and you will examine the requisite documents, as well as the other steps, to be taken in the administration of an estate. You will also prepare estate administration forms in accordance with the Rules of Civil Procedure. You will examine other steps to be taken in the administration of an estate including file management and the documents required to transfer real and personal property.
