Description:

In this course, you will learn about the procedures used, and the various systems that exist, for recording rights in land in Ontario. Learners will explore the different types of land conversions available, including administrative conversion, first applications and applications for absolute title, as well as the procedures necessary to move lands from one system to another. A study of condominium ownership, the Condominium Act and the process involved in creating condominiums is covered in this course. Learners will also examine purchase and sale procedures and documentation for brand-new condominiums, resale condominiums, and brand-new homes. A search of title of a condominium and accurate drawings from legal descriptions will be completed according to legal protocol.
