In this course you will identify the wide range of community and justice services available to clients in community and institutional settings. You will explore a wide range of topics that impact clients, staff and members of the public, including, the impact of legislation and how it governs correctional practices; correctional mandates and recruitment procedures; functional differences between institutional and community corrections; and privatization and its impact on the Criminal Justice System.
