In this course you will examine the historical, philosophical and contemporary applications affecting youth in conflict with the law. You will learn to interpret and apply the Youth Criminal Justice Act and the Child and Family Services Act in relevant police investigations. You will also study alternatives to the Criminal Justice System that influence young offender rehabilitation.
