Description:

In this course you will examine the policies and procedures related to Municipal Law Enforcement, emphasising the role of the by-laws officers in the investigation, enforcement and prosecution of contravention offences. Additionally, you will learn the various regulatory streams, including but not limited to Land Use, Zoning and Building Compliance, Health and Safety and more. In the corporate sector, you will explore the specialized case of Casino Enforcement and the Criminal Law attendant with the controls necessary to promote a safe and fair gaming environment. You will also examine the security needs associated with large corporations and their unique security needs.
