Description:

This course is a continuation of Real Estate Law and Conveyancing I. You will continue to explore the substantive law of real estate, including the Planning Act and its effects on real estate transactions, including searching title. Applying the Planning Act, you will complete a search of title for part of a lot and its adjoining lands. You will become acquainted with the legal procedures necessary when acting on the purchase, sale and mortgage of lands, and examine circumstances that can impact the successful completion of real estate transactions.
