You will be introduced to the duties and responsibilities of an estate clerk. You will review and draft Powers of Attorney and Wills. You will follow checklists with respect to the Appointment of Estate Trustees and will examine the requisite documents, as well as the other steps, to be taken in the administration of an estate. You will also prepare estate administration forms in accordance with the Rules of Civil Procedure including valuation of assets and the calculation of estate administration tax. You will further examine other steps to be taken in the administration of an estate including file management and the documents required to transfer real and personal property.
