You will be introduced to the law of real property and the various rights in land and how they are created. Using a simulated online Land Registry Office environment, you will conduct searches of title to real property and prepare abstracts and search summaries according to standard legal practice. You will become familiar with the various statutes that impact ownership in land and identify possible problems that may affect the transfer of land from one owner to another.
