Description:

In this course, you will review the basic legal principles applicable to any business person or corporation carrying on activities that comprise a Canadian business venture overseas. You will study various laws of other countries that impinge on international business and are of particular interest to Canadian business, as well as review international treaties and conventions which facilitate contractual dealings between businesses in different countries. Finally, you will be exposed to public trade law that encompasses various multi-lateral agreements concerning international trade.
