Payroll is an integral part of the Canadian economy providing funding in the form of employer remittances such as Canada Pension Plan contributions, employment insurance premiums and income taxes. In this course, students will apply best practices in managing the payroll process to communicate all aspects of payroll to various stakeholders. In addition, students will be able to accurately complete Records of Employment (ROE) and ensure compliance with employment standards legislation.
