In this course you will explore the role of leadership in the hospitality organization with an emphasis on strategic management. You will develop an awareness of the characteristics needed to be a successful leader. During the semester topics such as team building, effective meetings, organizational politics and power will be addressed. These topics will provide you the opportunity to develop skill sets in order to be a productive team member.
