This course will provide the learner with the opportunity to examine and explore the roles of the Housekeeping and Engineering Departments. Emphasis will be placed on standard operating procedures regarding cleanliness, inventory control, costing, and maintenance. The student will also analyze the role of the Safety & Security team and its importance within today's hospitality sector. The topic of sustainability in the Hotel and Tourism industry will also be evaluated.
