This course will provide the learner the opportunity to examine and explore the roles of the Housekeeping and Engineering Departments. Emphasis on standard operating procedures with regards to cleanliness, inventory control, costing and maintenance will be addressed. The student will also analyze the role of the Safety & Security team and its importance within todays hospitality sector. The topic of sustainability within the Hotel and Tourism industry will be evaluated as well.
