You will be introduced to the industry standard for cultivating crops in greenhouses. You will investigate the technical aspects of greenhouse crop production, using selected examples to demonstrate innovative production principles. You will research innovation in greenhouse production through industry guest speakers/field trips and/or applied research projects that will enhance the application of the principles of production. You will also investigate the challenges posed by regulations and border issues that affect this industry, as well as the importance of native and alternative crops.
