Management of a horticultural business requires many skills. This course begins with business structures, sources of capital, inventory, marketing, advertising, and production decision-making. Horticultural entrepreneurship topics also include project bidding, personnel management, a policy manual, and interpersonal communication. Budgeting and costing of horticultural services will be developed. This course finishes with the production of a business plan.
