This course begins with the types of business structure, sources of capital, inventory, marketing, advertising, and production decision making. Horticulture entrepreneurial topics also include bidding on projects, personnel management, a policy manual, and interpersonal communication. Budgeting and costing of horticultural services will be developed. This course finishes with the production of a business plan.
