This is an intermediate design course building upon the design principles, theories and the design process studied in HORT1013. Students will design a variety of sites, including commercial, small residential and community properties. This course explores hardscape materials and designing hardscape structures to enhance a landscape design. Students will further enhance their computer aid drafting skills and will be introduced to new software, including 3D Sketchup and Dynascape. As well, students will begin studying a "Landscape Design Manual," to start preparing students for the Landscape Ontario professional "Certified Landscape Designers Test" upon graduation.
