Description:

You will be introduced to the different types of fruit crops grown in Ontario. You will explore the various cultural practices used in fruit farms and orchards to successfully bring a fruit crop to harvest. On field trips to orchards, you will practice various pruning techniques. You will research and present a plan for the management of a fruit farm or orchard. Upon completion, you will be able to identify all the cultural requirements to grow a specific fruit crop successfully.
