You will study the principles of soil science and the effect of soils on plant growth and development through hands-on interactive labs and research projects, as well as examine fertilizers' role in soil and soil-less media through presentations and lab-based activities. You will also identify plant nutritional disorders through research conducted in the Niagara College greenhouse.
