You will study the principles of soil science and the effect of soils on plant growth and development through hands-on interactive labs and research projects. You will examine the role of fertilizers in soil and soil-less media by the use of presentations and lab based activities. You will also identify nutritional disorders in plants through research conducted in the Niagara College greenhouse.
