Description:

You will investigate insect life, structure, behaviour and life cycles. You will explore how these traits are used in insect management. You will also explore the different insect orders and main families that affect horticultural crops using the teaching collection at Niagara College. You will research common beneficial insects and become familiar with the identification of these organisms. You will explore the different techniques used to determine the types of plant damage caused by insects.
