You will learn the basic principles of nursery management. You will examine, through discussions, the major components of site selection, development and organization. You will use basic nursery management tools and procedures at the Niagara College Plant Nursery to develop the skills necessary to perform these procedures in the workplace. You will also learn about propagation for nursery operations through research and practical applications. You will also use and recognize the importance of record keeping in a nursery.
