A healthy diet leads to a healthy smile. In this course you will learn the effect of nutrition on the health of your teeth and gums, and how to make healthy diet choices. You will explore strategies for assessing a diet and making recommendation for an improved diet. You will work with partners and on case studies to put these strategies into practice. Discussions of vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats, proteins, trace elements, and their related food sources will be included.
