This advanced course provides an in-depth exploration of the detailed logistics and operational elements essential for successful event execution and the deliberate design of the attendee experience. Students will move beyond basic planning to examine the various sectors of the event industry and master the principles of coordination, logistics, and "Day-of" operations. Emphasis is placed on applying creative design principles and understanding program design to create intentional, high-impact events, including complex multi-day events such as conferences, conventions, or festivals. Key operational elements-including staffing, facility and site planning, vendor coordination, detailed budgeting, and risk management-will be integrated into the development of comprehensive operational plans and detailed timelines, culminating in a thorough understanding of event execution and post-event evaluation.
