In this course, you will explore the challenges and strategies for planning, organizing, and developing effective event teams, with an emphasis on volunteer management. Students will enhance their skills in personal growth, leadership, and teamwork. The curriculum covers the entire HR cycle, including planning, recruitment, training, motivation, scheduling, and compensation, while addressing performance standards and health/safety issues. A key focus will be on essential leadership skills, including goal setting, decision-making, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Students will also examine the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles to promote fair practices in HR and team development.
