This course provides you with an overview of project management and the essential tools needed to deliver successful projects by applying fundamental event principles. You will explore project management with a practical, hands-on approach that considers various event scenarios. Under the direction of faculty, you will be allowed to develop, plan, and promote at least one major event. Using skills from the program, you will work in a team environment to prepare a live event, such as a fundraising initiative, seminar, or workshop. You will hone skills in planning, logistics, marketing, sponsorship, finance and operations through the event experience.
