This course prepares students to adapt esthetic treatments for oncology clients and other medically sensitive populations using an integrative, whole-person care approach. Students learn how cancer therapies affect the skin and body, how to safely modify treatments, and how to support clients' overall well-being. The course emphasizes empathetic communication, evidence-informed practice, and collaboration with both medical and integrative health professionals. The course highlights comfort-focused, non-invasive modalities that complement clinical care and enhance quality of life during and after treatment.
