Description:

This course is a combination of theory and practical. You will gain an understanding of the structure of the hair unit, different growth cycles and patterns, and the associated disorders and diseases that alter them. You will practice safe and efficient hair removal techniques using various hair removal procedures. You will acknowledge cautions and contra-indications for hair removal services and appreciate the importance of client health screening and consultation. You will practice Ministry recommendations for effective sanitation and sterilization procedures. You will perform hair removal on various body parts, including pre-and post-client care suggestions.
