This course is a combination of theory and practical. You will study the anatomy of the feet and the nail unit's structure. You will study common conditions and diseases associated with the feet, skin and nails. You will learn the correct use of tools and implements and the required equipment and materials. You will practice working in a safe and efficient environment and follow Ministry guidelines for sanitation and sterilization procedures while adhering to industry expectations for quality and timing. You will learn how to perform various pedicure protocols and specialized treatment modifications for client needs.
