This course integrates two key aspects of Occupational Health and Safety in the environmental industry: the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and hazardous materials management. Topics will include workplace responsibilities, rights, key principles in Ontario industries, environmental regulations, and strategies for managing hazardous materials and waste. The course will also explore safe transport, identification, classification, spill management, waste management, and remediation technologies.
