Within the field of Ecosystem Restoration, there has been an ever-increasing demand on practitioners to make project design decisions in line with broader ecological perspectives. This course will introduce learners to these larger issues and cover topics such as the attributes of a restored ecosystem, reference communities, historical trajectories, novel ecosystems, and basic landscape ecology, focusing on form and function within the context of ongoing, new, and emerging social, economic, and environmental issues. You will identify the key steps in ecological project management and develop associated project management documents.
