This course will provide specific training on applying federal and provincial (Ontario) Environmental Assessment legislation to proposed projects. Related legislation, such as the Planning Act, Environmental Protection Act, etc., will be reviewed with you, and their interrelationships will be explored. The application of case studies will highlight strategies and nuances of the legislation and give you experience in preparing applications. Individual and Class Environmental Assessments will be addressed.
