Description:

In this course you will study the fundamentals of water and wastewater treatment including the treatment processes, regulation and distribution. Relevant material will be reviewed for the preparation and writing of the Ontario Level Drinking Water Operators certification. In this course, you will also explore various Operator-in-Training career pathways and the agencies responsible for granting industry certification which include; Walkerton Clean Water Centre, the Ontario Water Wastewater Certification Office (OWWCO), and the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).

    • ENVR1129 - Environmental Chemistry AND
    • ENVR1207 - Environmental Sampling and Analysis
  • ENVR1293 - Environmental Resource Issues and Environment Site Assessments
