Description:

In this course you will explore the principles and techniques of air monitoring on a macro and a meso scale. This includes using monitoring procedures and equipment, field exercises, data collection and interpretation. Attention will be paid to the identification of the mutual impacts of air quality on human well-being and environmental health. Concerns about air quality inspired some of the earliest environmental legislation. You will have the opportunity to explore current legislation and its implications for controlling the quality of the air we all breathe.
